Use it when website ROI is unclear, leads need better qualification, follow-up happens too late, or visitors need stronger review and proof signals before they choose a business. Use the plugin to install: * AI Assistant + Lead Capture: load the TAPNET-powered website chatbot, answer visitor questions from AI Hub knowledge, qualify by fit and urgency, collect lead details, and route conversations through TAPNET AI Hub. * Lead Intel Tracker: add the free TAPNET Lead Intel tracker so TAPNET can report page, referrer, attribution, and website opportunity signals. * Lead Widget: add the free TAPNET side-out widget for reviews, QR codes, callbacks, and TAPNET attribution. Active TAPNET product 559 subscriptions unlock booking links, quick quotes, service areas, offers, and FAQs. * AI Assistant and Lead Widget: run the AI Assistant with the free Lead Widget. * Both / All: run multiple TAPNET widgets together when you have the required tokens. The plugin does not include TAPNET’s AI service locally. It loads TAPNET service scripts after a site administrator enables the plugin and saves the required token for the selected widget type. The token connects the site to the right campaign, AI Hub knowledge layer, lead workspace, and follow-up path. When AI Hub Publishing is enabled, the plugin also renders a first-party crawlable AI business profile, service pages, location pages, `llms.txt`, and a WordPress sitemap provider from the saved TAPNET profile token. #### External Service Disclosure This plugin connects to TAPNET services at `https://tapnet.com`. For the AI Assistant, the plugin loads: ``` https://tapnet.com/modules/addons/tapnet_assistant/assets/site-loader.js ``` The AI Assistant loader resolves the saved install token through TAPNET and may send the following data to TAPNET so the service can respond to visitors and create lead records: * Install token * Page URL and page title * Referrer and UTM/source information * Visitor chat messages * Optional visitor name, email, and phone when entered by the visitor * Basic browser/session context needed to operate the widget For Lead Intel, the plugin loads the TAPNET Lead Intel widget endpoint: ``` https://tapnet.com/index.php?m=tapnet_lead_intel ``` The Lead Intel tracker may send lightweight website intelligence signals such as page URL, page title, and referrer so TAPNET can build the site’s free Lead Intel report. For Lead Widget, the plugin loads the TAPNET Lead Widget endpoint: ``` https://tapnet.com/index.php?m=tapnet_lead_widget ``` The Lead Widget may send widget activity such as page URL, page title, referrer, widget opens, review clicks, QR opens, callback requests, booking clicks, quote estimates, service-area views, offer views, and FAQ opens so TAPNET can provide widget stats and reports. Lead Widget feature access is controlled inside TAPNET. Free widgets include review QR, callback tools, and attribution. Paid Lead Widget modules require an active TAPNET product 559 subscription. A TAPNET account and the required widget token are needed. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/tapnet-ai-chatbot`, or install the plugin zip from the WordPress admin plugin screen. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Go to Settings > TAPNET AI Hub. 4. Choose a Widget Type: AI Assistant + Lead Capture, Lead Intel Tracker, Lead Widget, AI Assistant and Lead Widget, Both, or All. 5. Paste the required TAPNET token for each selected widget type. 6. Check Enable TAPNET Widget. 7. Save the settings and refresh the public website. 8. When AI Hub Publishing is enabled, review the crawlable profile, service route pattern, location route pattern, `llms.txt`, and AI Hub sitemap URLs shown in Settings > TAPNET AI Hub. ## FAQ ### Do I need a TAPNET account? Yes. This plugin connects WordPress to TAPNET services and requires the appropriate TAPNET token for the widget you enable. ### Can I use only the free Lead Intel tracker? Yes. Choose Lead Intel Tracker as the Widget Type and paste the Lead Intel token from your TAPNET Lead Intel report. ### Can I run the AI Assistant and Lead Widget together? Yes. Choose AI Assistant and Lead Widget and provide both the AI Assistant install token and the Lead Widget token. ### Which Lead Widget features are free? Review QR, callback tools, and TAPNET attribution are free. Booking, quick quotes, service areas, offers, and FAQs require an active TAPNET product 559 subscription. The WordPress plugin only loads the token; TAPNET decides which modules are available. ### Can I run the AI Assistant and Lead Intel tracker together? Yes. Choose Both and provide both the AI Assistant install token and the Lead Intel token. Choose All if you want chatbot, Lead Intel, and Lead Widget together. ### Does this plugin send data to TAPNET? Yes. After the site administrator enables the plugin and saves a token, the plugin loads TAPNET service scripts from `tapnet.com`. The AI Assistant can send page context and visitor conversation data so it can respond, qualify interest, and create lead records. The Lead Intel tracker sends lightweight page and referrer signals for reporting. The Lead Widget sends lightweight widget activity signals for widget stats, review proof, and lead-intent reporting. ### Can I hide the widgets on specific pages? Yes. Add one URL path per line in the Hide On Paths setting. ### Is the TAPNET footer credit required? For the AI Assistant, the TAPNET footer credit/link is controlled by the optional TAPNET Footer Credit setting and TAPNET service configuration. Lead Intel free tracker attribution is controlled by TAPNET Lead Intel.
