Description
Does your back-to-top button hide your chat widget? AKAVA ScrollTop is the solution.
AKAVA ScrollTop adds a beautiful, customizable back-to-top button to WordPress sites. Unlike other plugins, it automatically detects and avoids floating widgets such as chat systems, cookie consent banners, and email signup forms. Perfect for long articles, publishers, e-learning sites, and blogs.
Why Choose AKAVA ScrollTop
Improved engagement through reading progress bar that shows how much content remains, reducing bounce rates.
Never covers widgets thanks to SmartDock, which automatically avoids floating chat, cookies, and email forms.
User-friendly design that works perfectly right out of the box without requiring any coding.
Accessibility first with WCAG compliance, keyboard support, and reduced-motion awareness.
Lightning fast performance using vanilla JavaScript with no jQuery, no tracking, and no external requests.

FAQ
-
Do I need to know code to use this?
-
No. Everything is configured through the Settings page with a live preview. No coding or custom CSS required. Just activate and configure.
-
Will it slow down my site?
-
No. The plugin uses vanilla JavaScript without jQuery, loads only necessary code, and has zero external dependencies. Site speed impact is negligible.
-
Does it work with my page builder?
-
Yes. Tested and works perfectly with Elementor (free and pro), Divi, Gutenberg, Beaver Builder, and all WordPress themes.
-
Absolutely. Choose from gradient, solid, glass, and outline styles with circle, rounded square, or square shapes. Set independent appearance for mobile, tablet, and desktop with custom color options.
-
Will it work with my floating chat widget?
-
Yes. Enable SmartDock in settings and it will automatically move your back-to-top button to avoid chat plugins, cookie consent banners, email signup forms, and any floating widget. Add a CSS class to your widget if overlap occurs.
-
What about privacy? Does it track visitors?
-
Zero tracking. The plugin stores zero visitor data, uses no cookies or local storage, makes no external API calls, includes no analytics, and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy Directive. All configuration is stored only in your WordPress database.
-
Does it work with RTL languages?
-
Yes. The button uses logical CSS positioning so it mirrors naturally in LTR languages like English, French, and Spanish, as well as RTL languages like Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi.
-
How does Reading Progress work?
-
ContentProgress measures reading in three ways: automatic detection of main content, manual selector input for custom content areas, or whole page measurement as fallback. The progress bar updates smoothly as visitors scroll.
-
Can I use my own icon or image?
-
Yes. Choose any image from your Media Library for the arrow icon. SVG files work if your site already allows them. The plugin does not inline SVG markup automatically for security reasons.
-
What happens when I disable or delete the plugin?
-
Settings are kept by default so you can re-enable without reconfiguring. Enable “Delete settings on uninstall” if you want a clean removal.
-
Does it work with infinite scroll or AJAX?
-
Yes. Works with AJAX and infinite scroll setups. The button recalculates position and progress as content loads dynamically.
-
Where can I get help?
-
